Having approver permission alone does not allow editing an activity.
Approvers can always approve or reject updates. However, to edit an update, the user must also have access to the specific feature the update belongs to.
For example, to edit a Diary update, the approver must have Diary access.
If the feature access is not enabled, the approver will still be able to review and approve or reject the update—but not edit its content.
