How to use the Sleep feature in Kriyo?

The Sleep feature in Kriyo helps teachers and caregivers easily record nap timings for children and share them instantly with parents.

It brings transparency, saves time, and helps parents plan their child’s routine better — especially when the nap time affects evening schedules and bedtime.

Sending a Sleep Update

  • Open the Sleep Feature
    • On the home screen, tap See All Features.
    • 💡 Tip: You can add Sleep to your favorite features for quick access if you use it often.

See article: How to Customize Your Favorite Features.

    • Under the Activities section, tap Sleep.
  • Select Children
    • Choose one or multiple children for whom you want to send the same sleep update.
    • The nap timings you enter will apply to all selected children.
  • Select the Sleep Timings
    • You can record either the start time, the end time, or both together.
    • The feature is flexible — you don’t need to update it on the spot.
    • If you’re busy when the nap starts, simply select the past time later.
    • You can also choose to send one update when the nap begins and another when it ends, or record both together (for example: Riya slept from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM).
    • Kriyo automatically customizes the message based on what you select.
  • Add Details and Attachments (Optional)
    • Add specific notes such as “Had a short nap” or “Woke up crying but settled soon.”
    • You can also attach a photo, voice message, or document if needed.
  • Send the Update
    • Tap Send to record and share the nap update.
    • Parents will instantly receive a notification, and the sleep details will appear on their Parent App home page.
