Manually assigning enrollment numbers to children can be time-consuming and prone to errors.
Kriyo’s Child Registration ID feature ensures every child gets a unique, structured ID automatically — making record-keeping seamless, accurate, and professional.
These IDs also appear on fee receipts, adding credibility and consistency across your school’s documentation.
👉 This feature is available only on Kriyo Web.
To get started, log in to your Kriyo Web.
In Admin Tools, go to Configuration Settings → Child Registration ID module.
Enter the prefix you want to use for your Registration or Enrollment IDs.
You can use a short version of your school name followed by the city or locality to keep IDs unique across multiple centers.
Example:
For Kriyo Preschool, Gandhi Nagar, you could use KRIGN.
To make IDs unique for each academic year, you can also include the year in the prefix — such as KRIGN25.
💡 Tip: The system automatically adds a unique counter (starting from 0001) to your prefix — e.g., KRIGN0001, KRIGN0002, and so on.
You can decide how you want to apply the new Registration IDs.
The available options will vary depending on whether you’re setting up the IDs for the first time or updating an existing format.
You’ll see an option to add Registration IDs for all existing active children profiles.
Select this option to automatically assign Registration IDs to all current student profiles based on your chosen prefix and numbering format.
You’ll see two options to choose from:
💡 Note: Once configured, every new child added in Kriyo will automatically receive the next available registration number in sequence — no manual effort required!
With Kriyo’s auto-generation feature, schools can easily create structured, consistent Registration IDs without repetitive data entry.
It saves time, reduces manual errors, and keeps every record perfectly organized — across admissions, reports, and receipts.
