Approval Setup in Kriyo: Overview
Approval Setup in Kriyo gives schools the flexibility to delegate content creation to staff while retaining final control over what reaches parents.
Instead of relying on one person to draft and send every update, schools can allow teachers to prepare updates—while administrators or designated approvers review them before they are published. This ensures consistency, accuracy, and professionalism without creating operational bottlenecks.
Approval Setup works closely with My Tasks, where approvers review pending updates, but all configuration and control start from the Approval Setup settings.

For each activity with approvals enabled, schools can choose:
If the approver does not act before the auto-approval condition is met, the update is automatically approved and sent to parents.
Daily Cut-Off Rule (Important)
To ensure updates are never carried over to the next day:
This keeps daily communication timely and predictable for parents.
